To add something special for your event hire one or more of our artists! They work with only the finest materials available to deliver the most stunning designs. Great for Birthday parties, corporate fun days, festivals, summer barbecues or Christmas Parties.
Face/Off can be hired for festivals, fetes and other public events throughout the year! Organizers can book our artists either hourly (minimum of 2 hours) or for a daily rate (maximum 7 hours).
Our artist(s) will arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event, in order to set up (set up time is not charged). The number of artists and the amount of time required depend upon the number of guests to be painted. On average one of our painters can paint 12 faces per hour.
Our artists have made the day of many a young person (and many a not-so-young person!) at many festivals and events throughout the South East of England and further afield: the Sweeps and Dickens Festivals (Rochester), the Will Adams Festival (Gillingham), the Sheerness Show, The Sittingbourne Spectacular, the Create Festival (Ashford), the Dover Regatta, the Jerk Cook-Out Festival (Forrest Hill), the Green Fayre (Buckhurst Hill) and even the 2007 Tour de France to are just a few of the events we have featured at...
If you are planning a themed event, let us know in advance and we will work out new, stunning and special designs to relate to your event; for example our artists have inflinced gruesome (fake!) wounds, warts, plague pustules and other bloody scabs to thouands of visitors at the English Heritage's "Worst Days Out in History" events held over the past few years at Dover Castle & Battle Abbey.
Or if you prefer Face/Off artists, equipped with special palettes, will mingle among your guests and decorate their face and/or bodies with the most stunning abstract, tribal (or else!) designs doing "walk about" face painting. Any theme can be catered for!
When booking Face/Off for a Birthday party the following is included:
A photo key ring of the birthday child
A photo magnet of the birthday child
A CD containing pictures of the children who have their faces painted
For your peace of mind, all our artists are covered by £5,000,000 public liability insurance and have been CRB checked.
No deposit is required upon booking. It is advisable to book as far in advance as is possible. If you book a party or an event to be held on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (excluding Bank Holiday Monday's, Christmas Day or Eve, New Year's Day or Eve and Easter), remind Betty you are entitled to a 10% discount!
